Today’s update is a strange and quite unusual one for me. As many of you know, I’m not shy about doing interviews but I rarely talk about personal issues/problems. However, there is something that I believe I should tell our Founders given the kind of transparency that has been a hallmark of both our Kickstarter campaign and the time we have spent together since then. So, if you are expecting an update about the game, you don’t need to listen to the video. OTOH, if you want to hear about something that has been part of my life for the last six months, this video is certainly for you. For those on our forums, this is an info dump about the surgery I had last week. There’s a nice happy ending and, as per my posts on the forums, it was not a life-threatening situation. The only reason I’m talking it now is, well, you’ll have to listen to the video to find out. Here are two hints though: Wolverine and sunscreen.

Work proceeds nicely here. We’re all back in the office after the usual fun and frolic that follows a minor ice/snow storm in the Washington, D.C. area. Even after 30+ years here, I’m still stunned at how things literally shutdown here with even a small amount of snow. Amazing.
